Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a PHP Backend Engineer / Senior PHP Developer
- Very good knowledge of PHP 8+ and modern backend development practices
- Experience with frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel
- Good understanding of REST APIs, integrations and backend architecture
- Experience with relational databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Redis, queues, messaging or background processing
- Practical interest or hands-on experience with AI / LLM tools, such as OpenAI API, Claude, GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering or AI automation
- English at a level allowing daily technical communication
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing backend services using PHP and modern backend frameworks
- Building and maintaining REST APIs, integrations and business logic for production systems
- Working with databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL / Redis / Elasticsearch
- Supporting the development of AI-powered features using LLMs, OpenAI API, Claude or similar tools
- Working on AI automation, prompt engineering and backend integrations with AI services
- Improving application architecture, scalability, maintainability and performance
- Collaborating with product, engineering and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Taking ownership of technical decisions and supporting less experienced developers when needed
- Participating in code reviews, technical discussions and delivery planning
