Requirements
- Proven experience as an Alfresco SME, Senior Engineer, or Specialist.
- Hands-on experience with Alfresco Content Services (including v7.x).
- Deep understanding of repository architecture, metadata, and content models.
- Proven track record delivering multiple Alfresco migrations.
- Demonstrated experience with Alfresco to SharePoint/M365 migrations.
- Experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 migration tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix.
- Scripting proficiency in Java, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the migration approach for Alfresco upgrades and transition to SharePoint.
- Assess existing Alfresco environments including content models, metadata, customisations, and workflows.
- Execute end-to-end migration activities including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Perform metadata mapping and validation.
- Develop and optimise migration tooling, scripts, and automation.
- Troubleshoot complex migration issues such as data integrity and performance.
- Support cutover planning, testing, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical assurance and expert guidance to delivery teams and stakeholders.
