Requirements
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA), with knowledge of manual and functional testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with API testing, integration testing, performance/load testing, and security testing concepts.
- Experience writing test scenarios using structured formats such as Gherkin.
- Knowledge of test case design covering main, alternative, and exception flows.
- Understanding of programming logic and software testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience or familiarity with VTEX IO and/or VTEX FastStore is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work remotely with autonomy and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Map and design comprehensive test scenarios covering main flows, alternative paths, and edge cases across digital products.
- Execute manual testing activities, including functional, layout/UI validation, API testing, integration testing, performance/load testing, and security testing.
- Write and maintain clear and structured test documentation, including test cases and execution reports using standardized approaches such as Gherkin.
- Identify, document, and track non-conformities across development workflows, ensuring issues are properly communicated and resolved.
- Apply testing techniques to prioritize scenarios and optimize test coverage based on risk and business impact.
- Support the development and improvement of automation tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and reduce execution time.
- Generate quality reports and metrics dashboards to monitor product stability and testing progress over time.
