Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited US university.
- State teaching certification (any state) preferred.
- Minimum one year of online teaching experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly on deadlines.
- Proficiency with applicable computer applications.
- Full PC required (tablets or Chromebooks are not sufficient).
- Hardware meeting specified CPU/RAM/GPU requirements for virtual instruction.
- For Catholic religion roles: Theology degree and status as a practicing Catholic required.
Responsibilities
- Provide live, synchronous instruction and asynchronous student facilitation support.
- Work closely with and support a broad variety of domestic and international students.
- Prepare for live instruction via technology needs, course material, and instructional plan.
- Adhere to communication procedures and policies for student success.
- Grade student work and respond to email communication within 24-business hours.
- Provide sufficient feedback on student work and maintain weekly documentation.
- Assist administration in implementing virtual classroom rules and maintaining order.
- Collaborate with Instructional Managers and Mentor Teachers.
