Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience in contributing to research products.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative social science research methods.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with analytic software such as R, Stata, SAS, SPSS.
- Experience with SurveyMonkey preferred.
- Documented strong analytic, written, and oral communications skills.
- Excellent project management and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of childcare or early childhood education preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates on, designs, and conducts rigorous research to inform and advance child care and early learning systems.
- Participates in and leads data collection and analysis using multiple research methods.
- Translates data into research products easily understood by system leaders, policymakers and partners.
- Maintains data and associated databases and recommends improvements to data collection and integrity.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external stakeholders who provide data for analyses.
- Collaborates with the Senior Director of Research to develop resources, tools, and reports aligned with strategic priorities.
- Partners with Policy and Network Impact teams to include actionable recommendations in research.
- Manages and supports project development and fundraising activities.
