Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 1–2+ years of experience building and operating production Voice AI systems.
- Proven experience building and shipping production phone agents.
- Experience with voice-agent frameworks like LiveKit Agents, Vapi, Pipecat, Retell, Daily Bots, Bland, OpenAI Realtime, Twilio, Telnyx, Deepgram, Soniox, ElevenLabs, or Cartesia.
- Strong understanding of voice pipeline (STT, LLM orchestration, TTS, turn-taking, latency optimization).
- Solid understanding of telephony concepts (PSTN, SIP, WebRTC).
- Experience with LLM-powered products (prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, model selection, evaluation).
- Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience implementing AI systems in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement production-ready generative voice AI solutions.
- Develop voice-based AI systems integrating ASR/STT and TTS into conversational workflows.
- Design and optimize real-time voice agent workflows balancing latency and reliability.
- Implement production-ready LLM-based solutions for voice experiences.
- Develop evaluation, testing, and observability frameworks for AI systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into product workflows.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
