Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • 3+ years of focused experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience supporting federal contracting environments (DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies).
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, or ITAM).
  • Proficiency with backlog management tools (Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps).
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, LucidChart).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client-facing workshops and structured discovery sessions.
  • Convert mission-level needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform gap assessments comparing legacy workflows against ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Partner with Agile Coach to develop delivery processes and SOPs.
  • Own backlog quality and Definition of Ready reviews.
  • Mentor junior analysts and developers.
  • Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
  • Build process maps, workflow diagrams, and data models.
  • Counsel government clients on platform best practices.
  • Ensure designs conform to Section 508 and FISMA/NIST controls.
