Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 1–4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, Power Query, and financial modeling techniques.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and core financial principles (GAAP knowledge preferred).
- Experience working with financial systems such as Oracle, Vena, or Anaplan is a plus.
- Familiarity or interest in data tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Databricks is highly valued.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
- Collaborative mindset with curiosity for continuous learning and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare reports, forecasts, business plans, and executive-level summaries supporting decision-making.
- Support monthly reforecasting cycles, variance analysis, and KPI tracking across revenue, expense, and profitability metrics.
- Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans, including multi-year financial models and scenario analysis.
- Partner with accounting teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and planning inputs.
- Develop recurring reporting packages highlighting key financial trends, risks, and performance drivers.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and presentations in response to leadership requests and business needs.
- Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes to improve data quality, efficiency, and usability.
- Assist in collecting, transforming, and validating financial data from multiple enterprise systems to support insights generation.
