- Strong infrastructure and platforms background
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Go(lang)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Hands-on background in distributed storage, replication, or data durability
- Familiarity with performance engineering: benchmarking, profiling, and scalability
- Experience managing remote, globally distributed teams
- Passion for open source and developer tools
Responsibilities
- Hire, lead, and support a high-performing Infrastructure Platforms team
- Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into infrastructure platforms
- Own agile delivery, planning, and execution
- Guide security, reliability, and scalability of core components
- Collaborate across infrastructure and support teams
- Perform technical reviews and unblock complex issues
- Encourage continuous improvement in quality and operational efficiency
- Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation
