Requirements
- 5+ years insurance claim handling experience (Individual Disability Claims).
- A college or university degree, or high school diploma with extensive prior relevant work experience
- Demonstrated understanding of claim management techniques and critical thinking requiring analysis and/or investigation.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service.
- Attention to detail with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing competing priorities with deadlines.
- Negotiating skills, solution strategies and ability to apply appropriate resources.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Be a decision maker.
- Focus on solving complex problems, while making timely, but thoughtful decisions to resolve client issues.
- Analyze medical, financial, and other claim documents.
- Have opportunities to meet with our customers in person.
