Requirements
- Minimum 8 years IT/Security experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Cloud Security or Cloud Engineering in GCP and/or AWS.
- Deep expertise across at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Competency with GNU/Linux, Bash, Python, or Golang.
- Hands-on experience with WAF rules such as CloudFlare.
- Experience with IAM architectures, secrets management, PKI, and encryption.
- Experience with container security, Kubernetes hardening, and service mesh.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like FedRAMP, HIPAA, ISO 27001/2, NIST, or SOC2.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Help develop architectural requirements and engineering processes for cloud-native platforms.
- Design and tune cloud-native detection rules and threat models for AWS GuardDuty, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and GCP Security Command Center.
- Conduct continuous vulnerability assessments of cloud workloads, container images, and serverless functions.
- Develop and ensure compliance with security controls.
- Partner with engineering teams to prioritize and drive remediation of findings.
- Maintain and update CloudFlare WAF rules.
- Evaluate and deploy cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP) and container security tools.
- Assist with technical response for cloud security incidents and root-cause investigations.
- Write production-quality code in Python or Golang for security tooling and automation.
