Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Java development in production systems.
- 2+ years of Agile experience, with strong preference for XP.
- 1+ year of AWS cloud-native experience (Lambda, ECS, SQS, Aurora).
- Expert level proficiency in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
- Demonstrable TDD skills evidenced via GitHub.
- Required certification: Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 17 or 21 Developer (OCP).
- Advanced experience with Spring Security, OAuth2/OIDC, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in reactive programming and event-driven microservices.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders, senior engineers, and ML engineers in cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement agentic AI workflows and Amazon Connect telephony automation.
- Transform legacy business operations into modernized systems.
- Perform daily pair programming using driver/navigator rotation.
- Write production code using TDD (Red-Green-Refactor).
- Engage in trunk-based development with short-lived branches.
- Maintain high code quality through constructive code reviews.
- Support and maintain existing systems for performance during transitions.
