Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience, or 1+ year of auditing experience with accounting exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience in reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and payroll accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Manage bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform payroll entries and journal adjustments.
- Support month-end close processes including accruals and revenue recognition.
- Maintain client accounting records using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Process fixed asset schedules and complex accounting adjustments.
- Assist with sales tax calculations and compliance tasks.
- Communicate directly with clients via email, calls, and video conferencing.
