Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience leveraging data analysis to influence product development, strategic decisions, and measurable business outcomes within technology environments.
  • Strong experience working on AI/ML-driven products, data-informed experimentation, or intelligent product ecosystems.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analysis or scripting tools.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation methodologies, regression models, decision trees, and related analytical techniques.
  • Ability to provide meaningful recommendations and insights in early-stage or 0→1 product environments, even with limited datasets.
  • Proven track record of independently driving projects and proactively engaging with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with experience translating technical insights into business impact.
  • Ability to thrive in highly collaborative, fast-evolving, and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with SaaS products, AI product development, or startup environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent prioritization and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Engineers and Data Engineers to build scalable, reliable, and efficient data foundations that support AI and machine learning initiatives.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify high-impact opportunities and directly influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and business priorities.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis, deep-dive investigations, and rigorous experimentation to better understand user behavior, workflows, and engagement with AI-powered features.
  • Design and execute statistical analyses and experiments to evaluate product performance and optimize user outcomes.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prioritize initiatives effectively in a fast-paced environment, focusing on projects with the greatest strategic and business impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, and executive leadership to accelerate execution and product iteration.
  • Contribute to evolving data science best practices, technical standards, and a culture of strong analytical ownership across the organization.
  • Support the growth of AI/ML product capabilities through continuous experimentation, measurement, and optimization.
