Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline or similar
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership
- Proven ability to be a liaison between organizations operating in separate geographic locations
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of highly experienced engineers
- Project management skills (communication, risk, planning/scheduling, change management)
- Experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale power industry new build
- Knowledge of USNRC licensing requirements
- EPC experience and knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and managerial leadership for multiple engineering first line managers & their respective teams
- Inspire, hire, coach and ensure the development of the teams technical and leadership talent/depth
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, project managers and stakeholders
- Interface with external partners, customers, the NRC or other applicable country specific regulatory agency, as required on technical issues
- Provide leadership supporting performance and program management of assigned work and ensure on-time fulfillment of engineering commitments
- Provide the oversight and be responsible for planning, organize and manage the delivery of technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables
- Drive the design & development & maintenance of required systems in accordance with the program/project software requirements
- Manage external resources to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- Support commercial and marketing opportunities
