Job Details

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline or similar
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership
Proven ability to be a liaison between organizations operating in separate geographic locations
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of highly experienced engineers
Project management skills (communication, risk, planning/scheduling, change management)
Experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale power industry new build
Knowledge of USNRC licensing requirements
EPC experience and knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Provide technical and managerial leadership for multiple engineering first line managers & their respective teams
Inspire, hire, coach and ensure the development of the teams technical and leadership talent/depth
Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, project managers and stakeholders
Interface with external partners, customers, the NRC or other applicable country specific regulatory agency, as required on technical issues
Provide leadership supporting performance and program management of assigned work and ensure on-time fulfillment of engineering commitments
Provide the oversight and be responsible for planning, organize and manage the delivery of technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables
Drive the design & development & maintenance of required systems in accordance with the program/project software requirements
Manage external resources to ensure quality and cost efficiency
Support commercial and marketing opportunities
