Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or comparable qualification
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, AR/AP, and G/L
- Familiarity with German GAAP (HGB)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Proficiency in accounting software like DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics
- Effective communication skills in German and English
Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices in ERP system with proper account coding
- Manage payment cycles and vendor inquiries
- Issue customer invoices and monitor incoming payments
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and post bank movements to G/L
- Book recurring accounting entries for AP, AR, and banks
- Support month-end closing, accruals, and cut-off postings
- Assist with audit preparations and documentation
- Contribute to finance projects, system upgrades, and process automation
