Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ambulatory surgery centers
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, AAAHC and Joint Commission standards, and ASC quality requirements
- Proven experience in clinical quality, patient safety, and operational leadership
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90%)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site clinical and operational leadership support for ambulatory surgery centers on a PRN, assignment-based schedule.
- Evaluate compliance with clinical policies, CMS requirements, state regulations, and accreditation standards, ensuring survey readiness.
- Lead or support quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, risk management, and QAPI initiatives across assigned centers.
- Conduct assessments, identify performance gaps, and develop actionable improvement plans to enhance clinical outcomes and operations.
- Serve as interim administrator or clinical subject matter expert when needed, supporting staffing, operations, and clinical workflows.
- Monitor quality metrics, patient experience data, and regulatory indicators, escalating risks and reporting trends to leadership.
- Support staff education, competency evaluation, and best practice adoption to strengthen clinical performance.
