Requirements

  • Three or more (3+) years of instructional design or curriculum development experience in the K-12 ELA education market.
  • Expertise in evaluating High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge in instruction and curriculum development.
  • Experience doing curriculum alignment work in K-12 or higher education.
  • Experience mapping state standards to curriculum.
  • Strong familiarity with state and national curriculum standards.
  • Strong knowledge of standards, alignment, curriculum mapping, and standards language.
  • Familiarity with K-12 district RFPs and state instructional materials adoptions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Google Workspace.
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in Education, Curriculum Design, or Instruction required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess RFP and State Adoption submissions for Great Minds products providing content area support and knowledge.
  • Create quality documentation that shows how Great Minds curriculum aligns against state and national standards and exam rubrics.
  • Collaborate with internal RFP and state submission review teams to make recommendations for additional content coverage.
  • Review existing curriculum alignments to confirm that documented coverage reflects the most current version of the standards.
  • Summarize alignment data to support marketing efforts, policy documentation, and research studies.
  • Develop crosswalks and complete rubrics related to RFPs to confirm products meet requirements.
  • Support Proposals team in reviewing product criteria and assessing Great Minds product alignment.
  • Evaluate and analyze state standards and requirements for Sales and RFP opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly or biweekly state adoption meetings as the Proposal team’s content representative.
  • Partner with Content and Product teams to maintain and verify state alignment studies.
