Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3 years or more experience in public accounting or private industry.
- Prior CPA firm experience preferred.
- Current CPA license or active preparation to sit for the CPA exam.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage Intacct preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based applications (Bill.com, Tallie, Expensify) preferred.
- Ability to organize projects and delegate tasks.
- Ability to mentor and train staff.
Responsibilities
- Handle aspects of the monthly close including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Implement and train users on cloud-based tools such as Bill.com, Nexonia, and Tallie.
- Coordinate various phases of engagements with supervisors.
- Review working papers for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate engagement progress and financial information to clients.
- Provide supervision and on-the-job training to junior staff.
- Maintain strong client relationships.
