Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in incident management or IT operations in enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to manage high-severity IT incidents.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL standards.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams under pressure.
  • Hands-on experience with PagerDuty, ServiceNow, New Relic, or CloudWatch.
  • Experience leading or mentoring others.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed during crises.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • AWS training or certification.
  • Experience in financial services or mortgage industry.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-based monitoring or automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead incident bridge calls as Incident Commander.
  • Coordinate response efforts across IT, infrastructure, application, and vendor teams.
  • Prioritize rapid service restoration during active incidents.
  • Drive the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process.
  • Ensure documentation and incident records are complete.
  • Prepare executive-level incident reports and recurring metrics.
  • Provide transparent updates to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL and internal standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
