Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining production-quality JavaScript or TypeScript code
  • Ability to investigate bugs in a codebase with external dependencies such as APIs, SDKs, and third-party services
  • Understanding of REST APIs and common authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys
  • Familiarity with n8n or workflow automation
  • Comfort using CLI tools and package managers such as npm or pnpm
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative, low-ego mindset

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage community contributions
  • Review community PRs with clear, actionable feedback
  • Help improve and automate the process of managing community contributions
  • Debug and fix bugs across the n8n codebase
  • Work with external APIs, SDKs, authentication flows, and node logic
  • Vet community nodes to ensure quality, security, and usability
  • Make targeted documentation tweaks
  • Contribute to node enhancements and engineering tasks
