Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining production-quality JavaScript or TypeScript code
- Ability to investigate bugs in a codebase with external dependencies such as APIs, SDKs, and third-party services
- Understanding of REST APIs and common authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys
- Familiarity with n8n or workflow automation
- Comfort using CLI tools and package managers such as npm or pnpm
- Clear written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative, low-ego mindset
Responsibilities
- Review and manage community contributions
- Review community PRs with clear, actionable feedback
- Help improve and automate the process of managing community contributions
- Debug and fix bugs across the n8n codebase
- Work with external APIs, SDKs, authentication flows, and node logic
- Vet community nodes to ensure quality, security, and usability
- Make targeted documentation tweaks
- Contribute to node enhancements and engineering tasks
