Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Current licensure with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence.
- 3 to 6 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Thorough knowledge of inpatient and clinic-based operations.
- Ability to communicate professionally with physicians and clinical staff.
- Technical proficiency in application systems analysis, workflow analysis, and build/design.
- Ability to obtain Epic certification(s) within 60 days of final training.
- Experience with billing requirements and hospital administration processes.
- Strong logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases for optimum performance.
- Perform analysis, design, and deployment of IT resources in application specialty.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver technology and automated solutions.
- Design and build EHR and pharmacy system configurations.
- Manage pharmacy technology initiatives to meet goals and deadlines.
- Develop and communicate effective downtime processes.
- Provide design information across cross-functional projects.
- Communicate risks, issues, and status updates effectively.
