Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET, Java, C#, Linux Container Development, k8s, MVC, SaaS, SOA, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Modern Javascript Frameworks, Entity Framework, or microservices.
- Proven experience building and delivering SaaS-based software with modern system architecture (microservices, cloud native).
- Experience with a major Cloud Service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of Operational Excellence (DevOps, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Observability).
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Newrelic, Haystack).
- Experience with real-time processing using event-driven architecture and high-volume batch processing.
- Experience building complex role-based access and entitlement systems.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision making and evaluating technical trade-offs.
- Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing teams of software engineers, including recruiting and hiring.
- Experience managing global teams working across multiple timezones.
- Experience with Lean-Agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum).
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Engineering teams to deliver functional requirements and ensure features are built to specifications.
- Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and API design (20-30% of time).
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers.
- Build system architecture and influence the product roadmap.
- Drive continuous improvement by reducing technical debt and increasing scalability/resilience.
- Define and track KPIs such as deployment frequency, MTTR, and SLA adherence.
- Manage on-call incidents and troubleshoot critical disruptions.
- Drive adoption of modern development practices and tools.
- Establish performance goals and manage resource allocation.
