Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within financial services, including at least 5 years in digital banking initiatives
- Direct experience working with credit unions or community banking institutions is mandatory
- Proven track record leading Backbase platform implementations in complex enterprise environments
- Strong hybrid capability across business analysis and project/program management, including user stories, functional design, and governance
- Expert-level understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and hybrid delivery models
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior banking leadership (CIO, COO, CEO level)
- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance delivery speed and documentation quality
- University degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Define program strategy, roadmap, and delivery approach across digital banking initiatives, ensuring alignment with executive stakeholders and organizational priorities
- Oversee Backbase platform implementations, managing integrations with core banking systems, middleware, and member-facing digital channels
- Act as both strategic advisor and execution lead, balancing business analysis (requirements, user stories, functional specs) with program governance and Agile delivery
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, vendors, and credit union leadership to resolve risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
- Drive Agile ceremonies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), ensuring predictable delivery and continuous improvement
- Leverage AI tools and modern productivity practices to accelerate documentation, analysis, and delivery efficiency
