Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel)
- Strong experience building and maintaining web applications and APIs
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems independently
- Experience working with and improving legacy systems
- Strong understanding of unit testing principles and implementation
- Solid grasp of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
- Ability to work independently and drive work to completion
Responsibilities
- Tackle complex technical challenges with scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
- Design and develop high-quality PHP applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Own features and services end-to-end, from design through delivery and production support.
- Design and implement comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Lead efforts to analyze, refactor, and improve legacy systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, features, and implementation details.
