Requirements
- 5+ years of product management or commercial experience, preferably in polymers.
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (preferred).
- Understanding of distribution business models, focus industries, and chemistries.
- Understanding of financial concepts including sales revenue, margins, and working capital.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort presenting in front of large audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 75% for meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Set goals for volume growth, pipeline performance, and material margins with suppliers.
- Network with suppliers to foster collaborative relationships.
- Negotiate renewals, amendments, and new distribution contracts.
- Collaborate across functions to solve business problems.
- Manage working relationships with select key suppliers.
- Negotiate product costs and logistics.
- Provide regular sales volume and pipeline updates.
- Develop and implement action plans to correct sales performance gaps.
- Lead business reviews with appropriate content and cadence.
