- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud operations, or platform engineering.
- 6+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Experience directing and scaling units of 10–20+ engineers.
- Experience constructing or reforming platform or SRE organizations.
- Experience leading a platform-as-a-product operating model.
- Modernization of large-scale systems and cloud-native migration experience.
- Experience operating secure and scalable systems in high-traffic environments.
- Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure, observability, incident management, SLOs/SLIs, and IaC.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage and build a top-performing SRE and infrastructure unit in India.
- Develop GoDaddy's SRE Center of Excellence in India.
- Foster platform-as-a-product thinking through developing self-service options.
- Boost developer experience and engineering pace.
- Drive infrastructure transformation to modular, multi-service, cloud-native platform architectures.
- Take charge of reliability, operational quality, and incident handling processes.
- Lead automation and toil reduction initiatives.
- Establish reliability approaches including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
- Partner with product, engineering, and security leaders.
- Provide technical leadership in Platform and Engineering groups.
