Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with at least 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in a top-tier law firm or leading international/regional practice.
- Proven experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional legal matters independently.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to align legal advice with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with modern digital tools, including Google Workspace and AI platforms such as Gemini, Claude, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving ability, adaptability, and confidence working in ambiguous or evolving situations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end legal support for international expansion initiatives, including entity structuring, market entry strategy, regulatory approvals, and operational launch activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex commercial agreements, including trading, technology, vendor, service, and partnership contracts.
- Support corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investment structures, and related due diligence processes.
- Own cross-functional legal projects, working closely with compliance, finance, operations, HR, and senior leadership.
- Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks in key markets and translate legal developments into clear, actionable guidance.
- Support licensing, regulatory obligations, and ongoing compliance in regulated jurisdictions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams on commercial, regulatory, employment, and people-related legal matters.
- Manage and coordinate external counsel to ensure high-quality, practical, and cost-efficient legal outcomes.
