Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior engineering or security leadership roles with strong ownership of product architecture and security outcomes.
- Proven background building, shipping, and operating products or services within high-growth SaaS, cloud, or AI-driven environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed global teams through senior managers, directors, and principal-level contributors.
- Deep expertise in secure software design, threat modeling, web application security, API security, and modern identity and access management concepts.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, software supply chain security, vulnerability management, and incident response operations.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, AI, and Security stakeholders to align technical decisions with business priorities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical risks and trade-offs to executive audiences.
- Comfortable operating in highly collaborative, remote-first environments with a strong culture of transparency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term Product Security strategy across cloud-hosted and self-managed platforms, ensuring secure product delivery at scale.
- Lead a global multi-disciplinary organization covering application security, security engineering, vulnerability management, security architecture, cloud security, incident response, and developer-focused security tooling.
- Partner closely with executive stakeholders across Engineering, Product, AI, and Security to integrate security into architecture, planning, and development lifecycles.
- Drive the roadmap for core security services including authentication, authorization, secrets management, auditability, and security APIs.
- Establish scalable secure design reviews, threat modeling practices, and risk-based security processes that support fast-moving engineering teams.
- Oversee AI and agentic security initiatives, including governance models, architecture reviews, model protection strategies, and emerging AI risk management.
- Lead vulnerability management programs, bug bounty initiatives, and product security incident response efforts while leveraging root-cause analysis for continuous improvement.
- Develop executive-level reporting, security metrics, and risk visibility frameworks to support strategic decision-making and customer trust.
