Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Moderate experience in customer-facing technical support or infrastructure support roles.
- Hands-on experience working with VMware virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud and web application components and troubleshooting practices.
- Understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration) and ITIL frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking and monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds).
- Basic understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, REST, and SOAP.
- Familiarity with log analysis, debugging practices, and system troubleshooting.
- Exposure to ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in global teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 technical support for VMware virtualization platforms and related infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to cloud and virtualized environments.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Support ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Analyze logs, system data, and debugging outputs to identify root causes.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and support procedures.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and best practices.
