Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP Basis or SAP platform engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience managing SAP HANA in production environments.
- Experience with SAP ecosystems including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager.
- Proven experience in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HA/DR architectures, including replication, clustering, and failover strategies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP workloads.
- Familiarity with SAP transport management and tools such as ChaRM or CTS+.
- Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and incident management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, install, configure, and operate SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and NetWeaver.
- Administer and optimize SAP HANA including installation, sizing, replication, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Manage SAP system copies, refreshes, migrations, and post-processing automation.
- Lead SAP upgrades, enhancement packs (EHP), support packages, kernel updates, and system conversions.
- Design and implement SAP cloud migrations to platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Manage transport systems, security coordination, monitoring, and incident response.
- Develop automation scripts and operational runbooks using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
- Provide 24/7 production support and participate in root-cause analysis.
- Document SAP architecture and mentor junior engineers.
