Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance (mandatory).
- 3+ years of experience operating production cloud-native systems in Kubernetes environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and logging/metrics stacks.
- Understanding of secure system design principles and compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171/800-53 or FedRAMP.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain secure, production-grade Kubernetes-based cloud environments supporting critical application workloads.
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or OpenTofu across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, security scanning, deployment, and release automation.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure across multiple platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise systems.
- Develop observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or OpenSearch to ensure system reliability and incident response.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents to maintain system availability and performance.
- Implement automation for system security hardening, configuration management, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify platform gaps, improve workflows, and enhance developer experience.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform evolution in a DevSecOps environment.
- Work within Agile teams to deliver continuous improvements in platform stability, scalability, and security.
