Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in engineering management roles
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade cloud or AI/ML platforms in SaaS environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, particularly on Amazon Web Services
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Exposure to AI/ML platform technologies including LLM deployment, embeddings, RAG, and agentic workflows
- Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI and AWS AI services including SageMaker and Bedrock
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across distributed global teams
- Ability to balance technical depth with strategic execution and team leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed cloud and AI platform engineering team, fostering strong execution, collaboration, and continuous growth
- Own sprint planning, delivery cadence, reporting, and execution quality across multiple technical workstreams
- Drive architecture discussions, enforce engineering standards, and ensure high-quality code and system design practices
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders to define the roadmap for AI platform infrastructure and DevOps evolution
- Manage cross-team dependencies, remove delivery blockers, and ensure smooth execution across global (US–India) teams
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure reliability for AI/ML systems
- Contribute to hiring, team development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing engineering organization
