Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, warehousing, or fulfillment operations, including multi-site management responsibilities.
  • Proven experience leading national or regional fulfillment networks within complex operational environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operational budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies, operational excellence, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience implementing or managing warehouse management systems (WMS), automation technologies, and distribution technology platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive operational transformation while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to distribution centers and corporate locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee national fulfillment operations across multiple distribution centers, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution.
  • Establish standardized operational processes, KPIs, and best practices to improve consistency, productivity, and service levels across the network.
  • Drive a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company operational policies.
  • Manage end-to-end fulfillment performance, including order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory deployment, and outbound logistics execution.
  • Partner with transportation and logistics teams to optimize shipping performance, carrier compliance, shipment consolidation, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supply planning and manufacturing teams to balance inventory levels, working capital objectives, and seasonal capacity demands.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, including warehouse automation, WMS optimization, labor productivity improvements, and operational scalability projects.
  • Oversee fulfillment budgets, financial performance, and capital investment planning while identifying opportunities to improve cost-to-serve metrics.
  • Build, mentor, and retain high-performing operations teams while supporting succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
