Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant experience in immigration legal services, legal access programs, government contracting, or comparable mission-driven environments.
- Strong background in program management, operational design, and implementation of complex or evolving initiatives.
- Experience supporting or leading government proposals, procurement processes, or grant-funded programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid program changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for drafting structured, persuasive technical content.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse groups, including legal teams, government partners, and service providers.
- Experience supervising teams and supporting staff development in operational or program settings.
- Ability to collaborate across functions such as legal, IT, compliance, and finance.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the early-stage launch and incubation of new programs by translating program designs into actionable workflows.
- Design and oversee interim operational structures during program ramp-up phases.
- Lead and coordinate the drafting of technical and narrative sections for government proposals and renewals.
- Provide short-term operational support across programs, stepping into high-priority gaps during transitions or surges.
- Supervise and mentor staff across experience levels, providing guidance on project execution and prioritization.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support the development of secure systems and protocols in coordination with legal, IT, and compliance stakeholders.
