Requirements
- Well-versed in building and utilising custom WordPress plugins.
- Experience with WP-CRON, transients, caching, and query optimisation.
- Proven ability to develop scalable, high-traffic WooCommerce websites.
- Proven experience writing scalable, clean code.
- Strong PHP and JavaScript skills.
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Laravel and React (bonus).
- Comfortable working within a GIT-based version-controlled environment.
- Efficiency-focused approach to user experience and process.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communication and ability to articulate ideas to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build WordPress plugins that power massive eCommerce clients.
- Develop scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Research and implement innovative ways to improve backend capabilities.
- Debug and optimise functionality for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers.
- Liaise with third-party providers to integrate external applications.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend new tools.
- Provide Out-of-Office Emergency Support on a rota basis.
