- Proven track record of shipping ambitious, high-standard long-form work.
- Strong editorial skills: ability to edit at sentence and structural levels.
- Proven ability to manage publishing operations (budgets, pipelines, schedules).
- Cultural fluency across diverse topics (journalism, art, design, tech).
- Experience managing editorial teams and external creative contributors.
- Strong networking ability with writers, photographers, and filmmakers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
- Expertise in long-form storytelling across multiple media formats.
Responsibilities
- Define editorial vision and maintain high standards for all published work.
- Manage the end-to-end publishing calendar and production operations.
- Commission and edit work from staff and freelance writers, photographers, and filmmakers.
- Oversee editorial budgets, contracts, and rights management.
- Develop measurement frameworks for engagement, resonance, and cultural pickup.
- Lead internal storytelling efforts to align the company narrative.
- Manage and develop the existing editorial team and external creative partners.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Design, and Social teams for unified output.
