Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in data management.
- Highly skilled in data modelling with deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud databases.
- Good understanding of Azure cloud data services.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, and Shell Scripting.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to extract and standardize financial data from various formats including PDF, HTML, XBRL and iXBRL.
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Design, implement and optimize conceptual, logical and physical data models.
- Define and enforce data modelling standards and best practices.
- Manage and optimize databases including SQL Server, Neo4j, Snowflake, and Postgres.
- Collaborate with product managers and data engineers to translate business requirements into robust data structures.
