Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Rust.
- Solid command of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, indexing).
- Good working knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub, TTL).
- Hands-on AWS experience (ECS, RDS, SQS, S3, Lambda).
- Understanding of distributed systems principles (idempotency, fault tolerance).
- Security-aware with knowledge of secrets management and API authentication.
- Proficiency with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in professional workflows.
- Proven track record of taking ownership of services end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Design and own backend architecture for core Solana Mobile services: dApp Store APIs, wallet services, and device registry.
- Build and maintain REST and WebSocket APIs for Android, Flutter, and Web clients.
- Own services in production including on-call rotation, runbooks, and post-mortems.
- Automate processes and build internal tools to improve team efficiency.
- Manage CI/CD reliability and build infrastructure using GitHub Actions and WarpBuild.
- Drive AWS infrastructure architecture (ECS, RDS, Lambda, SQS, CloudFront).
- Maintain the observability stack using Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with mobile and protocol engineers on API design and on-chain program integration.
