Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of backend engineering experience.
- Hands-on involvement in banking or financial system modernization.
- Proven experience with legacy system transformation and decomposition patterns.
- Expertise in complex transactional and batch processing systems.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud-native technologies (AKS).
- Experience with event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
- Development experience in Java, Kotlin, Spring, or comparable JVM-based technologies.
- Experience working alongside AI-assisted coding tools in enterprise environments.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the modernization of legacy banking systems.
- Perform monolith decomposition and Strangler pattern implementations.
- Refactor batch and transactional processing systems.
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
- Support and lead migrations from legacy CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Work directly with architects and engineering teams within active codebases.
- Enable event-driven architectures and microservices-based solutions.
- Integrate and coordinate the DevOps toolchain (Wiz, SonarQube, Playwright, Nexus, Dynatrace).
- Collaborate in environments leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
