Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend engineering skills
- Experience in fraud detection, financial risk, or high-stakes domains
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Kotlin preferred
- Strong software quality practices and production ownership
- Clear communication skills
- AI-first mindset and experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with Apache Flink, real-time data pipelines, or event-driven architecture is a plus
- Experience with React Native or Temporal is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build fraud detection systems across transaction monitoring and account behaviour
- Own client-facing experiences for fraud-restricted accounts including self-serve resolution
- Build and improve internal tooling for fraud operations
- Develop risk-based features such as dynamic transaction limits
- Contribute to systems ensuring AML regulatory compliance
- Translate complex risk logic into simple user experiences
