Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years experience shipping code for consumer-facing web products
- 2+ years experience building products dependent on AI/ML
- Development experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
- Deep foundational understanding of web technologies
- Proficiency with AI concepts: LLMs, fine tuning, vector databases, prompt engineering
- Strong understanding of web development best practices (responsive design, performance, accessibility)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to debug production issues across services and stack levels
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for features that integrate with large language models, diffusion models etc.
- Consider the impact of technical decisions across features and teams.
- Maintain a high bar for technical quality while delivering value incrementally.
- Stay up-to-date on AI/ML advancements to assess relevance for strategy.
- Collaborate with product engineering to implement AI solutions for user experience.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces that integrate AI models and algorithms.
- Assist in developing and integrating third-party AI APIs.
- Build quality feedback tooling including unit tests, integration tests, and AI specific evaluations.
