Requirements
- Strong experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
- Advanced SQL expertise including complex queries and performance optimization in BigQuery.
- Solid experience in dimensional modeling and data lakehouse architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, code reviews).
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments.
- Experience working in agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical guidance and mentorship for analysts and engineers.
- Design and maintain scalable data models in BigQuery.
- Build and enforce a strong data engineering culture using dbt.
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to design data solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries for performance and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated data workflows using Python and orchestration tools.
- Ensure adherence to software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD).
- Support agile delivery practices.
