Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, economics, mathematics, business, or related field preferred.
- Approximately 6 years of experience in underwriting, product management, or related insurance functions.
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines insurance products, pricing structures, and state-level regulations.
- Solid analytical and data interpretation skills, including trend and financial analysis.
- Experience working with data tools, reporting systems, or visualization platforms is highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Experience with cross-functional project coordination and execution.
- Insurance designations (CPCU, ARM, AU, or actuarial progress) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support state strategy execution through financial planning, rate reviews, and market development initiatives.
- Analyze product performance, pricing trends, underwriting results, and competitive dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare reporting and planning materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Integrate competitive intelligence into recommendations for pricing, product design, and positioning.
- Coordinate with teams across underwriting, pricing, marketing, claims, legal, and operations to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
- Track project timelines and support speed-to-market for product updates and enhancements.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Build foundational expertise in assigned state markets and regulatory environments.
