Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a public accounting or consulting firm.
  • Experience addressing the unique requirements of the Private Equity consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of best practices for optimizing finance and accounting functions.
  • Extensive experience in transactions and integration activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and advise on complex technical accounting issues.
  • Knowledge of Office of the CFO technology solutions (ERP, EPM).
  • Proven ability to generate leads from a professional network.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at portfolio companies to enhance finance effectiveness.
  • Own stakeholder relationships and deliver superior client service.
  • Identify growth opportunities and lead business development efforts.
  • Liaise with buy-side M&A due diligence teams for post-closing transitions.
  • Manage complex PE-driven initiatives including purchase accounting and accounting method changes.
  • Lead financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and board/management reporting.
  • Advise on system strategy and accounting policy.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
