Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a public accounting or consulting firm.
- Experience addressing the unique requirements of the Private Equity consulting environment.
- Knowledge of best practices for optimizing finance and accounting functions.
- Extensive experience in transactions and integration activities.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Demonstrated ability to research and advise on complex technical accounting issues.
- Knowledge of Office of the CFO technology solutions (ERP, EPM).
- Proven ability to generate leads from a professional network.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at portfolio companies to enhance finance effectiveness.
- Own stakeholder relationships and deliver superior client service.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead business development efforts.
- Liaise with buy-side M&A due diligence teams for post-closing transitions.
- Manage complex PE-driven initiatives including purchase accounting and accounting method changes.
- Lead financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and board/management reporting.
- Advise on system strategy and accounting policy.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
