Requirements
- Proven experience shipping LLM-powered systems into production.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Cloudflare Workers.
- Demonstrated ability to build or own end-to-end evaluation pipelines.
- Experience setting technical standards, API contracts, or observability practices.
- Ability to operate across team boundaries without formal authority.
- Capability to connect external ecosystem changes to internal product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and evolution of AI-ready tools and APIs that enable LLM platforms to reliably interact with Canva's design capabilities.
- Own and evolve evaluation frameworks that systematically measure tool-use accuracy across platforms.
- Shape Canva's agent architecture and orchestration layers for third-party AI providers.
- Define and build observability systems to identify failure patterns and set quality benchmarks.
- Work across team boundaries to drive solutions spanning AI Integrations, API Capabilities, and Workflow Integrations teams.
- Influence integration strategy with partners like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
