Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required; Master’s or PhD strongly preferred
- 6+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or predictive modeling roles
- Strong experience applying AI techniques, including generative AI and/or agentic AI solutions
- Proven hands-on experience working with large language models in applied environments
- Deep knowledge of statistics, mathematics, optimization, and machine learning theory
- Advanced programming skills in Python, R, SAS, or SQL
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras
- Strong experience working with large datasets, including structured and unstructured data
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience deploying machine learning models from design to production
- Strong ability to evaluate model performance, make architectural decisions, and ensure scalability
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, predictive systems, and AI solutions including generative AI and agentic AI applications
- Apply statistical, optimization, and quantitative methods to solve complex business and financial problems
- Build and maintain data pipelines, perform large-scale data analysis, and extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured datasets
- Evaluate, validate, and tune machine learning models to ensure accuracy, scalability, and business relevance
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) into production and pipeline solutions, including prompt design and deployment workflows
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and engineering partners to define and deliver data science solutions
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical outputs to support data-driven decision-making
- Participate in research initiatives to explore and apply emerging AI and data science techniques
- Mentor and support junior data scientists, reviewing work and guiding technical development
