Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in data science, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and R.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and reproducible workflows.
  • Experience working in cloud-based data environments, including AWS.
  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, recurring reporting, and BI tools for nontechnical users.
  • Experience using Git and documentation/testing practices.
  • Strong judgment about data quality, metric definition, and governance.
  • Prior experience using AI tools in data science workstreams.
  • Ability to develop practical measurement approaches for new or evolving features.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders from multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own CDI’s research and analytics data infrastructure including core data models, schemas, documentation, data quality checks, and analysis-ready datasets.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using reproducible ETL/ELT practices.
  • Lead the rebuild and modernization of CDI’s analytics and reporting layer.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, recurring reporting, and self-serve tools.
  • Establish and steward trusted metric definitions, documentation, and governance practices.
  • Co-lead the data and evaluation work for the AI dialogue coach.
  • Support quantitative data preparation and analysis for efficacy and impact studies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Research & Evaluation, Implementation, Operations, and Product/Technical teams.
