Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years focused on data infrastructure, ETL, or analytics.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Experience with modern data stack tools.
- Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Adaptable and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with AWS.
Responsibilities
- Building data infrastructure/data engineering: designing and implementing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
- Product development: gathering requirements, developing features, and making improvements to data systems and adjacent infrastructure.
- Delivering high-quality code across the stack, including backend services, infrastructure, databases, and data visualization.
- Tooling: Improving platform tooling through CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and automated testing.
- Technical project management: planning and coordinating deliverables, scope, timelines, and budgets for project teams.
- Supporting the team: mentoring junior colleagues, presenting internally, and participating in interviews.
