Requirements
- 15+ years in software engineering.
- Significant experience in senior engineering leadership (Director level and above).
- Experience leading multi-functional organizations (product engineering, QA, data, infrastructure).
- Proven track record of shipping product.
- Deep experience building AI-powered products and leading AI-driven development workflows.
- Fluency in agile and product engineering principles.
- Strong executive communication skills (board-level experience).
- Proven ability to develop leaders and manage effectively through others.
- Comfort operating in a mid-sized company environment.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain high standards for delivery velocity, quality, and predictability across all engineering teams.
- Evolve processes and accountability systems, including CI/CD adoption and shift-left quality.
- Drive the shift toward modern, cross-functional product teams with rapid feedback loops.
- Own the 6–24 month technology roadmap, defining strategy and managing technical debt.
- Provide architectural vision and ensure infrastructure and security alignment with business goals.
- Lead development of AI-powered products and embed AI-based development practices across engineering.
- Provide strategic oversight for the data platform, analytics, ML/AI pipeline infrastructure, and governance.
- Assess, develop, and mentor leaders to scale the organization.
- Serve as the engineering voice for executive and board audiences.
